“Can’t say enough good things about Steve Cervine. He was reliable, always showed up just when he said he would, did just what he said he was going to. As the project unfolded, it turned out that there was a lot more work to do than we had originally thought (he did a very careful inspection and found rot that would have threatened the integrity of the balcony and porch), so it turned out to be more expensive and to take much longer than either of us thought. But he was careful to show me everything that showed up and to explain it fully, so the costs made complete sense. What was better, even though the project took a couple of weeks longer than either of us thought at the beginning, he stuck with it. I was proud to be able to tell the new owners that the house had been restored to perfect health by the best guy in the business! Very knowledgable, very thorough, very detail oriented. “I wanted a reasonable price, a dependable person, and excellent work. I found that with Steven Cervine. I live in Southern California but needed to get my rental home remodeled. He ALWAYS responded to my calls and my emails quickly. He got the job done and brought it in on time, within a short time table. Steven doesn’t know this but I had a neighbor take photos of the work inside my vacant home every few days after the workers had left. This was in the middle of a bath and kitchen remodel … how did the progress look? The construction zone was clean, organized, and the work looked super sharp all through the weeks of work. No tools and junk laying around, no un-emptied trash. He runs a tight ship and he is there personally getting the job done. (I know because he would be at the site when I called. He texted pictures of the issues that needed decisions.) When we made changes, he wrote up change orders immediately for my review and kept track of the costs very clearly.
